Meta Pixel Setup and Standard Event Tracking
We install and configure the Meta Pixel so every key action on your site fires the right standard event with the right parameters. Built for businesses running Meta ads whose pixel was installed years ago, added by a plugin, or never checked since launch.
Advertisers launching Meta ads or cleaning up an old, plugin-installed pixel
- Pixel base code deployed through GTM

When the Pixel Fires, but the Data Is Wrong
Many pixels load on every page yet send incomplete or duplicated events. Meta then optimizes and reports on data that does not reflect what customers actually did.
Multiple Pixels on One Site
A theme app, a plugin and a hardcoded snippet all load the pixel, so PageView and Purchase fire more than once per visit.
Custom Events Instead of Standard
Actions tracked as custom events with random names cannot be used for standard optimization goals without extra work.
Missing Value and Content Data
Purchase events without value, currency or content_ids leave ROAS reporting empty and weaken catalog and dynamic ads.
What We Configure in Your Meta Pixel
A single pixel, loaded once, with standard events mapped to your funnel and parameters pulled from your data layer rather than scraped from the page.
Pixel Base Code in GTM
One pixel tag in Google Tag Manager, with legacy hardcoded and plugin versions removed.
Standard Event Mapping
ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout, Lead, CompleteRegistration and Purchase mapped to your real actions.
Event Parameters
value, currency, content_ids, content_type and num_items passed from data layer variables.
Domain Verification
Your domain verified in Business Manager so you control event configuration for it.
Aggregated Event Measurement Review
Priority events reviewed in Events Manager so the actions that matter most are measured first.
Consent Integration
Pixel firing tied to your consent banner so tags respect visitor choices.
How a Pixel Event Reaches Meta
Each visitor action is written to the data layer, picked up by GTM and sent to Meta as a standard event with its parameters attached.
Product view, add to cart, form submit
Event name, value and product IDs
Maps the push to a standard event
Sends the event with fbp cookie
Event available for ads and audiences

Meta Pixel FAQ
Straight answers before you book. Still have a question? Talk to us directly.
Should the pixel be installed through GTM or a platform integration?
Both can work. GTM gives you full control over triggers and parameters and keeps all tags in one place. Native integrations like the Shopify Meta channel are quicker but less flexible. We choose based on your platform and make sure only one method is active.
Which standard events should we track?
It depends on your funnel. An online store usually needs ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout and Purchase. A lead generation site usually needs Lead, CompleteRegistration or Schedule, plus Contact for calls and chats. We only add events you plan to use for optimization, audiences or reporting.
Why does Events Manager show warnings about my pixel?
Common warnings include missing parameters, duplicate events, events sent from unverified domains and mismatched currency values. We read each diagnostic, fix the cause in the tag setup and confirm the warning clears.
Is the pixel enough on its own?
The pixel is the foundation, but browser-only tracking misses events blocked by ad blockers or privacy features. Many advertisers add the Conversions API next. We build the pixel with event IDs so a later server setup can deduplicate against it.
Can you track events in a single page app or embedded form?
Yes. When pages do not reload or forms sit inside iframes, standard page triggers fail. We use data layer pushes, history change triggers or form provider callbacks to fire the right event at the right moment.
Services That Work Well Together
Tracking is a system. These services are often delivered alongside this one.
Server events sent to Meta with event IDs, deduplication and customer data for stronger event match quality.
Clicks, forms, scrolls and key actions tracked in GTM and sent to GA4 and your ad platforms.
One accurate purchase event per order, with value, currency and IDs for GA4, Google Ads and Meta.
