THE PROBLEM

Google Ads Cannot See What Happens After the Lead

Form fills are easy to count, but they are not the outcome you pay for. Without offline data, Google Ads treats a junk lead and a signed contract as the same result.

Bidding Optimizes for Volume

Smart Bidding keeps finding people who fill forms, not people who buy, because that is the only signal it has.

The Click ID Gets Lost

The GCLID never reaches the CRM, so there is no way to tie a closed deal back to the ad click that started it.

Manual Uploads Stall

Spreadsheet uploads done by hand get skipped, arrive late or miss the conversion window entirely.

WHAT WE IMPLEMENT

The Offline Conversion Pipeline We Build

We connect website click data to your CRM records, define which pipeline stages count as conversions, and automate the upload back into Google Ads.

01

GCLID, GBRAID and WBRAID Capture

Click identifiers stored in first-party cookies and written into CRM lead records on submission.

02

Pipeline Stage Mapping

Qualified lead, opportunity and closed won stages each mapped to their own Google Ads conversion action.

03

Conversion Values from Deals

Deal amounts or agreed stage values passed with each upload so value based bidding has real inputs.

04

Automated Upload Method

Google Ads API, Zapier, native CRM integrations or scheduled uploads, chosen to fit your stack.

05

Matching Without a Click ID

Enhanced Conversions for leads uses hashed email and phone as a fallback when a lead record has no click ID.

06

Timing and Window Rules

Conversion times, time zones and click-through windows set so uploads are accepted and credited.

HOW IT WORKS

How a Closed Deal Gets Back to Google Ads

The click ID travels with the lead into your CRM. When the lead moves to a stage that matters, that event is sent back to Google Ads as a conversion.

What is offline conversion tracking in Google Ads?

It is the process of sending conversions that happen outside your website, such as a qualified call, a signed contract or a paid invoice, back into Google Ads. Each conversion is linked to the original ad click, usually through the GCLID stored with the lead.

HubSpot and Salesforce have native Google Ads integrations we can configure. Pipedrive, Zoho, GoHighLevel and others can be connected through Zapier, Make, scheduled files or the Google Ads API. We choose the method that your team can keep running.

Google Ads accepts offline conversions within the click-through conversion window you set on the action, up to 90 days. For longer sales cycles we often track an earlier stage, such as a qualified lead, so bidding still receives timely signals.

Some leads arrive without a click ID due to browser limits or cross-device journeys. With Enhanced Conversions for leads, hashed email and phone captured on the form give Google another way to match those records when you upload them.

It depends on deal volume and cycle length. Closed deals are the most accurate signal but may be too few or too slow. Many accounts bid on qualified leads and record closed deals as a secondary action. We help you pick based on your data.

Yes. On-site lead tracking captures the click ID and gives Google Ads a fast signal. Offline imports add the quality layer on top. The two work together rather than replacing each other.
