ECOMMERCE TRACKING

Ecommerce Tracking That Matches Your Real Orders

We build ecommerce tracking that records every product view, cart action, checkout step and purchase with clean item data, so GA4, Google Ads and Meta see the same orders your store backend does.

ECOMMERCE TRACKING

Ecommerce Tracking Services

From platform setup to the purchase event itself, each service covers one part of the path from product page to confirmed order.

GA4, Google Ads and Meta tracking built on Shopify Customer Events and checkout extensibility.

GA4, Google Ads and Meta tracking for WooCommerce, built with PHP hooks and a clean dataLayer.

A GA4-standard ecommerce dataLayer spec and build, so every tag reads the same product data.

One accurate purchase event per order, with value, currency and IDs for GA4, Google Ads and Meta.

Track add to cart, cart and each checkout step so you can see exactly where shoppers drop off.

WHY THIS MATTERS

Why Ecommerce Tracking Deserves Real Engineering

Ad platforms bid on the revenue you send them. When purchases are missing, duplicated or stripped of item data, budgets move toward the wrong products and campaigns, and nobody can see why.

Revenue That Reconciles

Purchase values, tax, shipping and currency are defined once and sent consistently, so reports can be checked against store orders.

Better Signals for Bidding

Smart Bidding and Meta optimization learn from the conversions you send. Accurate order values give them something real to work with.

Product Level Insight

A complete items array shows which products get viewed, carted and abandoned, not just which sessions ended in a sale.

Tracking That Survives Updates

Theme changes, checkout upgrades and plugin updates are a common cause of silent breakage. We build with those changes in mind.

FAQ

Ecommerce Tracking FAQ

Which ecommerce platforms do you work with?

Most of our ecommerce work is on Shopify and WooCommerce. We also work with custom-built stores and other platforms, as long as we can get order and product data into a dataLayer or a server-side feed. The audit tells us quickly what is possible on your stack.

It depends on the store. The native Shopify apps are fine for some setups, but they limit control over parameters and deduplication. Often we use GTM with a custom dataLayer, or combine an app with custom events. We explain the tradeoffs before building anything.

Common causes include purchases firing twice on page reloads, off-site payment gateways that skip the confirmation page, ad blockers, consent choices, and differences in how tax, shipping and refunds are counted. We identify which of these apply to your store and fix what can be fixed.

Yes. We implement the GA4 recommended ecommerce events from product list views through add to cart, checkout steps and purchase. That lets you build funnel reports and see where shoppers drop off.

We configure tags to respect your consent banner and Google Consent Mode v2 signals. For Shopify we use the Customer Privacy API. Data collection follows what each visitor has agreed to.

You get a working implementation, a written event and parameter reference, test order evidence, and a walkthrough of how to check tracking health yourself. Everything lives in your own accounts.
