Tracking Audit for GA4, GTM, Google Ads and Meta
We review your full tracking stack, from GTM containers and dataLayer events to GA4 key events, Google Ads conversion actions and Meta Pixel and CAPI setup. You get a clear list of what is broken, what is missing and what to fix first, before you trust another report.

Signs Your Tracking Needs an Independent Audit
Tracking setups decay. Site redesigns, new plugins, agency changes and consent updates break tags quietly, and ad platforms keep optimizing on whatever data they receive.
Duplicate or Inflated Conversions
Thank-you page reloads, overlapping tags or a missing event_id cause the same lead or purchase to be counted more than once.
Silent Tracking Gaps
A form change or checkout update stops a conversion from firing, and nobody notices until campaign performance drops.
Inherited, Undocumented Setups
Old containers full of unused tags, hardcoded scripts and unknown triggers make every change risky and slow.
What We Check in Your Tracking Audit
The audit covers every layer that feeds your reporting and bidding, tested live on your site with real interactions, not only by reading configuration screens.
GTM Container Review
Tags, triggers and variables checked for duplicates, paused leftovers, firing order, naming and hardcoded scripts outside GTM.
DataLayer Inspection
dataLayer pushes checked for correct event names, parameters, ecommerce objects and timing on key pages.
GA4 Configuration
Data streams, key events, custom dimensions, referral exclusions, cross-domain setup and data retention reviewed.
Google Ads Conversions
Primary and secondary actions, counting settings, values, enhanced conversions and conversion linker checked.
Meta Pixel and CAPI
Standard events, parameters, event_id deduplication, Event Match Quality and domain verification reviewed.
Consent and Privacy
Consent Mode v2 signals, CMP integration and tag behavior before and after consent tested in Tag Assistant.

Tracking Audit FAQ
Straight answers before you book. Still have a question? Talk to us directly.
What access do you need for the audit?
Read or view access to Google Tag Manager, GA4, Google Ads and Meta Events Manager is enough for the audit. If a server-side container or CRM is involved, we ask for view access there too. We do not change anything during the audit itself.
Do you fix the issues you find?
The audit is a standalone deliverable, and your developer or agency can act on it. If you prefer, we can scope and carry out the fixes as a separate implementation project.
Is this the same as the free 30-minute audit?
No. The free call is a quick review to spot obvious issues and decide next steps. The full tracking audit is a deeper, documented review with live testing across every platform and a written report.
Can you audit server-side tracking too?
Yes. We review server-side GTM containers, clients, tags and transformations, plus how browser and server events are deduplicated in GA4, Google Ads and Meta.
How is this different from a Google Analytics audit?
A Google Analytics audit focuses on GA4 configuration and data quality. The tracking audit covers the whole stack, including GTM, Google Ads, Meta, consent and how those systems interact.
